Mental Health Awareness Week

We currently find ourselves midway through 'Mental Health Awareness Week' and at Uniforms4Healthcare we thought we'd examine what makes the ideal uniform for a mental health worker.

Mental Health Week is supported by the Mental Health Foundation and aims to educate the public about various mental health issues as well as to raise support for them.

In an era where the people living with mental health issues seem to be getting younger and younger, we felt we'd look at what uniforms would make those younger sufferers more comfortable.

The stereotypical doctor's uniform, while professional, will not exactly fill a young mental health patient's mind with joy, however some of these alternatives may do.

Our "Women's Up In The Air Print Top" with it's cartoon like design will make what may be a daunting trip to the doctors, that bit more settling for a young patient.

As well as this we have the similar "Pet Shop Dog Print Tunic", not to mention the "Piggy print scrub tunic" all of which will be guaranteed to put a smile on a child's face.

Mental health deserves everyone's support and attention and we here at Uniforms4Healthcare are proud to support it.
